Our first project in continental Europe has quickly become a hangout for some of the best players in France. That is partly because our clients, the Mourgue d’Algue family, are so highly respected in the game.
But as our clients have told us, the course fascinates because you never have the same approach shot or recovery shot twice. The intricacy of the greens and their surrounds is unlike most courses on the Continent, and even in our own work … smaller movements lead to greater variety. Combined with the allure of the ancient town of St. Emilion and the vineyards that surround it, the new course makes for a compelling destination.
